F31E-14 Feed Table

The F31E-14 and 16 feed tables are designed to provide a continuous ribbon of lumber to the planer. The frame is made from heavy channel iron, angle iron, and rectangular tubing and is built to withstand the pounding associated with feeding rough lumber at feed speeds up to 2500 fpm. The upper pineapples are hydraulically tensioned to make constant pressure on the stock for even feed and accommodate thinner stock. The pineapples also have a quick lift feature that raises them to the maximum height capacity when required. The lead in pineapple can be adjusted out on the shaft to help pull in wider width lumber. The feed drive is electric featuring two 20HP motor/gearbox units, one to power the lower roll bed and one for the upper rolls. Power is distributed to the upper rolls through the use of poly chain HTD belts and sprockets.
